One Trick For Using Notes Outside Of The Scale

In this video, I show you one trick for using notes outside of the scale! There are many ways to do it but today I am jsut showing you one called secondary dominants. This is a bit of an advanced concept so you should be familiar with major/minor scales as well as dominant chords. Once you learn this your chord progressions will be a lot more interesting. The reason the notes go out of the scale is because they are borrowing notes from different keys. Once a chord has notes outside of the scale, is easy to transfer this onto your melody as well. Let me know what you think, and what theory tutorials I should do next!
